The Company

Tellus Holdings Ltd (‘Tellus’) is an innovative and professional environmental services business focused on cleaning up Australia of its hazardous waste. We aim to do this by developing world-class geological repositories and reinvesting in our communities through a circular economy and recycling technologies. Tellus has recently opened Australia’s first commercial geological repository in remote WA and has several other geological repository and circular economy projects in the pipeline.

Reporting to our General Counsel, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced full time Audit, Risk and Compliance Manager seeking a challenging and interesting support role. The role may be based in either Sydney or Perth with some inter-state travel required from time to time.

About you

Our ideal candidate should have the following expertise, experience and temperament to be considered further for this role:

  • Eight plus years relevant audit, risk and compliance experience
  • Preference to have a background in resources, industrial, transport/logistics, or environmental/waste management services
  • Critical thinker with a proven dedication to excellence and continual improvement
  • ISO certification experience highly desirable
  • Previous experience with INX systems highly desirable
  • Alignment with our culture of passion for our business and people, trust, reliability, respect and excellence
  • Ability to uphold the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity and professionalism
  • A warm, engaging personality, with a high EQ
  • Solutions focus and proactive, can-do attitude, with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills to resolve problems and create a positive influence
  • Mature, responsible approach, with the willingness to be self-directed, pro-active and take ownership
  • Strong work ethic
  • Polished, dynamic presentation and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong business acumen, including a high attention to detail
  • IT-savvy, including advanced Microsoft Office suite skills across Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Satisfactory outcome to a pre-employment medical examination
  • Satisfactory outcome to a national criminal history record check
  • Right to work in Australia
