Tellus is pleased to announce that it will proceed with a definitive feasibility study for the Chandler salt mine project in two stages.

This follows the completion of a successful prefeasibility study and capital raising.

Stage Main works
Stage one mine planning 3 cored salt wells, FEL 2 engineering, resource statement, conceptual mine design update, GO/NO GO decision step
Stage two mine planning Additional cored salt wells and decline wells, 3D seismic, FEL 3 engineering, resource and reserve statement, detailed mine design, final investment decision

“Based on the $6.5m of existing exploration, new core sample analysis, detailed prefeasibility study that concluded that the project is technically and commercially viable and successful marketing. Tellus is pleased to be progressing to the definitive feasibility study stage one,” says Tellus Managing Director Duncan van der Merwe.
