Chandler – Standard Salt Product Specification

Tellus Holdings Ltd’s (Tellus) rock salt will be mined from the 200 to 300 metre thick, 500 million year old, Chandler Formation salt bed, some 800 metres below the desert of central Australia from the proposed Chandler salt underground mine. The product is processed using a dry crushing and sorting system

Tellus’ salt is very high grade (98‐99% NaCl) and can therefore be used for a number of applications including chlor‐alkali production, synthetic soda ash production, road de‐icing, food & food processing, animal feedstuffs and other industrial applications including water treatment.
