Salt Products
Tellus’ rock salt will be mined from the 200 to 300 metre-thick, 500 million-year-old, Chandler Formation salt bed, some 800 metres below the desert of central Australia from the proposed Chandler salt underground mine.
Chandler - Standard Salt Product Specification
The product is processed using a dry crushing and sorting system.
Tellus’ salt is very high grade (98-99% NaCl) and can therefore be used for a number of applications including chlor‐alkali production, synthetic soda ash production, road de‐icing, food & food processing, animal feedstuffs and other industrial applications including water treatment.

Chandler - Premium Salt Product Specification
This product is refined in a closed-circuit process of dissolution, evaporation and crystallization.
Tellus’ salt is very high grade (99.7% NaCl) and can therefore be used for a number of applications including chlor‐alkali production, synthetic soda ash production, road de‐icing, food & food processing, animal feedstuffs and other industrial applications including water treatment.
