• The contaminated land industry continues to be an everchanging issue for private developers, government, landowners, consultants, contractors and regulators alike.
• Increasing scientific understanding and regulation of contaminants and potential contaminants means the industry is facing additional significant challenges every year.
• Waste streams are typically co-mingled and require multiple treatment options.
• Traditional infrastructure, aligned with declining available capacity and a reducing capability to deal with some of the more persistent and emerging contaminants safely, is creating significant environmental harm and financial burden.
