Tellus Holdings Ltd (“Tellus”) is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Australia’s leading logistics provider Toll Group Ltd (“Toll”) and is working towards full form documentation.

The agreement will see Toll become Tellus’ preferred logistics provider. Toll will provide input and expertise for the transport and logistics infrastructure and operations required to support Tellus’ projects in the Northern Territory and Western Australia. Importantly, the parties will work together to identify opportunities to provide a holistic transport, storage, recovery and permanent isolation service across the existing Tellus and Toll customer base and new potential customers.

The key areas of collaboration include:

  • Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) Support Services – Effective early involvement to help finalise project design and optimisation from a logistics perspective.
  • Commodity / Equipment/ Waste Resources Transport Services – The safe, reliable and efficient transport of materials to and from site is crucial to Tellus’ business model. Toll provides unparalleled capabilities across Australia in this regard.
  • Port and Facility Logistics Infrastructure Management Services – Involvement in the operation of Tellus infrastructure facilities or the utilisation of existing Toll facilities providing access to an Australia wide network of appropriately licenced facilities.
  • Support Services – Logistical support services to Tellus’ project sites.
  • Joint Marketing Services – Ability to identify opportunities to provide a holistic transport, storage, recovery and permanent isolation service to existing Toll customers and potential new customers.

Toll is planning on referencing this agreement in its next edition of Toll Today Magazine that will be circulated to 1,200 Toll sites in 50 countries with an estimated readership in excess of 25,000 companies and individuals.
